Several nights a week I attend a spinning Cycling class at Mercy health Center. Many times there are more cyclist than bikes, so some of the road bike folks bring in their bikes and put their bikes on a stand. Apparently it is a more difficult ride and I must admit it sure looks like it it harder.

Apparently you can burn about 500 calories in 30 minutes. I generally attend a 45 minute class 3 times a week and one night it is a full hour advanced class. Whoo Hoo, I am making progress!!
